Moodle Gradebook - Override a grade
Overriding Grade Cautions:
- Although the easiest way to enter 0 zeros for missing work
- If the score is overridden in the gradebook, it locks the ability to grade it through the activity.
- Can inadvertently give extra credit: Entering a value more than what the activity was worth.
How to Override a Grade
Step 1: Login to the course, click on Grades from the navigation bar across the top of the page.

Step 2: Click the Edit mode at the top right of the page.

Step 3: Click the cell you wish to enter the grade for. You can enter the grades by typing in the score or by using the arrows.

Step 4: When you are finished be sure to Save Changes located at the bottom right.
