Drop / Withdrawal from class
Step 1: Login to the Bruin Portal
Step 2: Select a course from Academics, Student Planning, Plan & Schedule, click on the Drop / Withdraw button. A pop-up window will open. Select the course(s) that you wish to drop from. Finally, click update.

Step 3: The course will be on your schedule as a planned course. To remove the planned course, click on the ‘x‘ at the top right of the section.
*Any course dropped after the Drop/Add period has passed is considered a withdrawal. The related tuition/fees will not be refunded and the grade of "W" will reflect on the academic record (transcript).
